Delagates from Africa and around the world are welcomed

The First (1st) Edition of the Pan-African Project Management Conference targets the following categories of delegates coming from Africa and around the world:

  1. Individual delegates:Individual delegates are the various beginners, experienced or inexperienced and Senior Professionals in project management as well as Senior Executives who need to enhance their professional skills and raise their market value on the job market and enlarge their contacts and networks;
  2. Student’s delegates: they are students of universities and academic institutions that are being trained in project management or are interested by project management in order to enhance their professional skills.
  3. Delegates representing the governments of African States:They are the various beginners, experienced or inexperienced and Senior Professionals in project management as well as Senior Executives that are selected by the governments and administrations of African countries to attend the Conference in order to enhance their current or potential work capabilities in project management;
  4. Delegates representing industrial and commercial enterprises in Africa: They are the various beginners, experienced or inexperienced and Senior Professionals in project management as well as Senior Executives that are selected by the industrial and commercial enterprises or Projects Owners in Africa to attend the Conference in order to enhance their current or potential work capabilities in project management.
  5. Delegates representing national standards bodies: They are the various Professionals and Senior Executives selected by African standards bodies to attend the Conference in order to enhance their work capabilities to develop project management standards;
  6. Delegates representing African universities and academic institutions: They are the various Senior Professionals in project management as well as various Senior Executives in charge of training programs that are selected by African universities and higher institutes to attend the Conference in order to enhance their design and execution capabilities of project management training programmes;
  7. Delegates representing the various categories of participants, speakers, partners or sponsors and exhibitors: They are the various Senior Professionals in project management as well as Senior Executives who are selected by the various categories of participants, partners or sponsors to attend the Conference and take an active part in the contents. These categories include:

a- International and Pan-African experts: International and Pan-African experts in project management and other subjects matter experts are invited to prepare and submit papers and presentations on the Conference topics in order to meet the expectations of conference delegates.

b- Continental and regional Pan-African organizations: Continental Pan-African organizations are those that operate at the continental level. Regional Pan-African organizations are those operate in a specific region of the continent. These organizations can support the Conference by providing speakers, patronage, partnership or sponsorship to the Conference.

c – Cameroonian public authorities: As the Conference is located in Yaounde, Cameroon, Cameroonian public authorities have the opportunity to make an important contribution by providing partnership or sponsorship to the Conference.

d- Standards bodies, international professional organizations and companies specializing in project management: Standards bodies and international professional organizations are those that offer international standards and international certification programmes for individuals and organizations. Companies specializing in project management are those performing projects and programmes for owners, offering the professional training and certification preparation services, providing project management tools for project management, such as specialized computer software. They can provide speakers, sponsorship, advertisement and exhibition of technological products and services in project management.

e- Industrial and commercial enterprises in Africa: Industrial and commercial enterprises are those developing their activities in various economic sectors and have a physical presence in one or more African countries. These companies often are promoters or providers of funding for projects and programmes as part of their development strategies. These enterprises can provide speakers, sponsorship, advertisement and exhibition of products and services.

f- International development organizations, banks, agencies, NGO’s active in Africa: International development organizations active in Africa include various bilateral or multilateral, public or private organizations and NGO’s whose mission is to fund or support activities to accelerate the development of Africa at both the continental, regional and national levels. These organizations can provide speakers, sponsorship, advertisement and exhibition at the Conference.

g- Media: The media are public or private, national or Pan-African and international companies that provide information and communications services in one or more countries of Africa. These companies are likely to be promoters of projects and programmes as part of their development strategies. Media can provide partnership and sponsorship in terms of communication and marketing services needed by the Conference.
